System Installation

Septic System Installation

New septic systems for Hill Country homes, ranches and businesses, from the first site visit to the final county inspection.

Built for Your Property

The Right System Starts With the Ground

In Texas, the kind of septic system you can put in depends on your lot: the soil, how deep it is to rock, the slope, and how close you are to wells, creeks and property lines. Much of the Hill Country has thin, rocky soil over limestone, so many properties use an aerobic system with spray heads instead of a conventional drain field. A soil and site evaluation decides which system a lot needs.

We walk the property with you, explain which options fit your site, and install the system the way it was designed and permitted.

The Process

How an Installation Goes

  1. Site evaluationThe soil and site are evaluated to see what kind of system the property can support.
  2. Design & permitThe system is designed for the house or building and submitted to the county for a permit.
  3. InstallationWe dig, set the tanks, run the lines and install the treatment and distribution parts.
  4. Inspection & startupThe county inspects the work, the system is started up, and you get a walk-through of how it works.

New aerobic systems come with a maintenance agreement. We can keep maintaining the system after that, too. See maintenance agreements.

The Straight Answer Check

Told You Need a New System? Get a Straight Answer First.

Replacing a septic system is a big expense, and sometimes the real problem is a pump, a float or a broken line. If another company has quoted you a replacement, we’ll come look at your system at no charge and tell you honestly whether it needs replacing or can be repaired.

No charge for the visit when you have a written replacement quote from another company and the property is in our service area.

Questions

Installation Questions

How long does a new system take?
The digging and install usually go quickly. Most of the time is spent on the site evaluation, design and county permit before work starts, and that depends on the county. Call and we’ll give you a realistic timeline for your property.
Can you replace my old system?
Yes. If your system has failed or no longer fits the house, for example after you add bedrooms or a guest house, we can install a replacement sized for how the property is used now.
Do you install commercial systems?
Yes. We install systems for businesses, shops, camps and other commercial properties.
